Reading "With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa" by E.B. Sledge. The book is regarded as one of the best accounts of World War II fighting in the Pacific written by an infantryman. Just finished watching "Pacific," a 10-part miniseries on the war in the pacific. Much of the series is based on Sledge's book.

Finished Ford County Stories by John Grisham last night. He needs to publish another novel. I'm all caught up.

Work on my second novel is going pretty good. It should be an improvement on the first.

Finished reading Grisham's "The Confession." Another well-done story, but I think the end was drawn out a bit. Great character development.
